Coastline Community Church is a contemporary/evangelical Christian fellowship of everyday people who have found joy and hope in following Jesus Christ. We are a suburban church, started in 1995 in the growing community of Carlsbad, Ca. Our average weekly attendance is around 250 people.
We are currently searching for part to full-time Children’s pastor to provide oversight for Coastline’s Children Ministry kids from Nursery through 6th grade. The Children’s pastor will lead the Children’s Ministry Leadership Team’s and provide leadership/supervision for other paid children’s workers as well as the volunteers. The Children’s pastor will be responsible for leading, designing and developing as well as recruiting and equipping volunteers in the Children’s Ministry Program.
The Children’s pastor will ensure that the gospel is presented to children in the care of Children’s ministry and ensure that biblical and relevant teaching is provided throughout children’s ministry.
Viable Candidates will possess:
•Vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ expressed through daily disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and worship as well as possessing a vibrant personality! The candidate should have a passion for influencing and affecting children’s lives with the gospel of Christ.
•Ability to build and work within a team environment and with a servant’s heart.
•Ability to develop, build and motivate ministry teams.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach the bible curriculum in a creative and interactive manner. (The ability to lead worship will be given strong consideration, as well.)
•Passion for helping parents grow children up to have a love for Christ
•A minimum of two (2) years experience in a growing and developing children’s ministry.
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or seminary. Preference given to degrees in Christian Education/Education.
