Job Description:
Christ United Methodist Church is seeking a Music Ministry Director to provide leadership to our traditional worship team and collaborative support of contemporary worship teams. This will involve directing our Chancel choir and Vocal ensemble in providing excellent worship experiences in our traditional services. It also involves supervising our Chancel ringers and working with our Children’s choir director during special times to enhance worship. Additionally, this person will work with our contemporary worship team leader to provide excellent worship experiences throughout our ministry. We are looking for a person with a passion for Christ, an appreciation for both of our traditional and contemporary music styles, and the background and skills needed to lead our music ministry and music ministry teams into the future.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide leadership to the music ministry staff, worship teams, and worship arts board to accomplish our mission of “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”. Dynamic and meaningful worship services are the primary port of entry into the life of our church. We are evaluating all aspects of our music ministry in seeking God’s direction for our worship life together.
