Ministry Position
Worship Arts Pastor

New Hope Durango is looking for a Worship Arts Pastor to serve in a thriving portable church located in a small town recreation paradise in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Skills needed:
Thriving spiritual walk
Proficient guitar player
Good vocal abilities
Good team leader
Able to blend well with existing pastoral leadership team
Spiritual leadership and care of worship team
Working knowledge of sound systems
Solid Biblical grounding
Computer skills
Video production and/or graphic arts skills preferred
Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple Sunday morning servant teams (setup and teardown).
Proven worship leading ability
Other ministry skills a plus!

New Hope Durango is a non-denominational church located in Durango, Colorado. The church is 6 years old and has met from the beginning in a movie theater. Worship style is contemporary with usually a hymn every week. We sing songs from multiple sources, but a lot of Chris Tomlin material, along with some Tommy Walker, Paul Baloche, Hillsongs, Vineyard, etc.

Congregation size is appx 300 in weekly attendance. Durango population is appx 16,000 in city limits, but 48,000 in the county. Current pastoral staff consists of Lead Pastor, Spiritual Growth & Connection Pastor, Children's Pastor.
