Job Description:

Church of the Holy Spirit, an AMiA Church in Roanoke, VA, is looking for an Executive Pastor for a church of 1200+ members and a staff of twelve which is seeking to grow spiritually and numerically. The salary range is $60K-$75K, plus benefits. The responsibilities and criteria related to this position include the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Train, supervise, and develop the staff
2. Steward the financial and administrative operation of the church
3. Oversee the building and grounds, including scheduling maintenance of the facility and general upkeep

CRITERIA NECESSARY FOR APPLICATION:

1. A Christian who is in agreement with the CHS Statement of Faith and the principles of AMiA
2. Theological training in the areas of OT, NT, Systematic Theology, and Church History -seminary training preferred
3. Experience in managing and leading an organization
4. Demonstrated ability to solve problems, supervise train staff, and oversee budget and administrative operations
4. Experience or ability to manage finances and employee benefits
5. Experience in facilities management
6. Ability to organize, train, recruit, and lead teams of volunteers from the church body
