Job Description:
Praise Fellowship Church is seeking a full-time Children’s & Family Pastor. Ministry involves reaching children and working with their families. Should also have the ability to build a team of adults to assist in ministry for children and parents. The heart of this position is to be able to have a strong passion for reaching kids and parents in the community and execute a discipleship plan for a growing family ministry. Being a visionary, team player, highly relational, having a sense of humor and being passionate about seeing young families come to Christ – if this describes you, then this is the place for you!

Duties include:
• Oversee & direct 200-250 children & young families that call Praise Fellowship their home
• Dreaming, planning and organizing a growing children’s & family ministry program and having the stamina and desire to take the ministry to the next level
• Oversee Children’s Ministry programming for three worship services on the weekends and midweek Wednesday night evenings
• Work with parents of children, creating a greater ownership of the spiritual growth of their children
• Lead a team of department heads, a creative director and an Early Childhood Director (Early Childhood director is currently on staff for 30 hours a week)
• Provide leadership, development and supervision to the Children’s Ministry team (others who help with the weekend and Awana’s programs)
• Volunteer recruitment, training and support
• Guiding and aligning age-appropriate curriculum for use in all children’s ministry programs
• Teaming with other church staff to fulfill the mission, vision and values of the church
• Develop outreach programs to reach young families
• Develop opportunities to provide teaching in parenting
