Job Description:
The Senior/Lead pastor, under the authority and leadership of the Board of Elders, operates as the spiritual leader of the church, serving primarily as the preacher, teacher, and shepherd.

The pastor we are seeking must be passionate for God, His Word, and His people. He must also be fully dedicated to prayer and the study of scripture in order to realize ongoing spiritual growth, both personally and congregationally. He must be a gifted communicator of biblical truth, with an emphasis on real-life application. The pastor must also be able to cast a God-given vision and successfully lead the church to achieve this vision.

We also desire a pastor who will work enthusiastically with our strong and dedicated staff, demonstrating the ability and willingness to co-labor within a team context with excellence, passion, creativity, and cohesiveness. This man must fully meet the qualifications of an elder as delineated in 1Timothy 3. The ideal candidate will also be a true servant leader.

Turning Point Community Church is an interdenominational church body.
