Youth Ministry Internship

The Youth Ministry Internship of Grace Fellowship Church exists to empower ministry leaders who feel called to full-time vocational ministry with emerging generations.

What

The residency is a two-year intense practical ministry program that engages, equips and empowers ministry residents to go and reach a generation for Jesus Christ. Ministry Residents will engage in the areas of leadership, heart and gifts. The program is 70% practicum and 30% academic. In this program, Ministry Residents are both learners and contributors. Their time is spent learning under the leadership of gifted ministry leaders.

Ministry Residents raise their own financial support from family and friends “back home” while our church members provide a host home for them for the full two years they are serving at Grace Fellowship Church. No financial remuneration will be provided by Grace Fellowship Church other than reimbursement for incidental ministry expenses.

Upon completion of the program, Ministry Residents should be able to effectively use their gifts in the leading, organization and/or support of an emerging generations ministry in their local church context.

Requirements

We accept applicants who are called to a vocational ministry. Prior ministry experience is preferred and a heart for learning and leading is required. Candidates will participate in various interviews including a theological interview with one of our pastors. Each applicant must submit his or her application in before the May 1, 2010, deadline.

- We contact you for a second interview

- We accept you into the program

- You turn in a proposed budget

- You raise support – 2 month’s support must be BANKED before you begin the residency & 24 months support must be PLEDGED before you begin the residency

- You begin the residency!
