Position Summary
Northbrook Church, a non-denominational church serving the northern suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a proven team leader to oversee the Worship Arts Ministry of the church. Northbrook has recently hired a new lead pastor and is in the process of dreaming about the next chapter. We are seeking someone to join us in this journey. This individual must be committed to developing a worship environment that impacts people on the cognitive, affective and evaluative levels. Northbrook currently reaches 1,200+ adults and children through its three weekend celebrations. We desire a leader with a pastor’s heart for people and passion for Christ-centered worship. This leader will be responsible for building, leading and shepherding instrumental and vocal teams, resource allocation and crafting worship encounters that serve as transformational catalysts, engaging and enabling the whole person to focus on and respond to God through music and worship.

Essential Functions
• Lead the Worship Design Team in the development of transformational worship experiences incorporating diverse audio and visual mediums
• Select compelling, engaging repertoire for weekly worship celebrations
• Ensure that the church adheres to the highest ethical standards regarding copyrights
• Mentor and shepherd worship personnel
• Create opportunities for people to connect with Christ through worship
• Develop and oversee the worship ministry budget
• Embrace cross-functional teamwork in pursuit of Northbrook’s ministry objectives
• Implement a missional go to them mindset throughout the worship ministry
• Recruit, equip and provide leadership and support to those who minister instrumentally, vocally and technically
