Job Description:

Faith Church is one church with two locations that spends its energy bringing the lost to Christ. We are a fast growing contemporary church (listed 5th fastest growing church in America by Outreach Magazine for 2009) constantly growing and changing to affect our community, state, nation and world. We minister to 3,000 - 4,000 people every week.

Faith Church’s Executive Director will be a passionate leader of leaders, possessing strong implementation and project management skills, who has track record of developing systems and moving teams toward fulfilling mission.

Possessing phenomenal organizational and people skills, our Executive Director will be a crucial link between the Senior Pastors and the staff and lay leaders. They will be a self- starter and once catching the vision of the ministry, will work with our staff of 18 and our volunteer base of over 450 to make the vision happen.

The Executive Director will be an implementer of vision, strategic planner, builder of teams, and extension of the senior pastors. A hunger for ever increasing leadership skills and expanding knowledge of how ‘church’ can happen effectively is a must.

Our ministry is on television and radio in our local area and receives about 250,000 web hits per week. We provide, through a volunteer department, free dvd's to all who respond to our television and radio ministry every week. Tracking and improving response, translating response to congregation members, assimilating members, entering them into discipleship and providing continuing pastoral care of members is an area that will lie under the direction of the Executive Director.

The Executive Director will be involved in staff meetings and meetings with the Senior Pastors, hear the vision and timelines and make the vision happen from big picture to service direction.

Our perfect candidate is adaptable to an ever changing job description and focus as the ministry grows and reaches more people. We are looking for someone who can build new departments and areas - then confidently build others to do their job so that they can continue to rise up and develop more areas and ministries.

Firm minimum qualifications include: 3+ years experience as Executive Director/Pastor/Administrator in church of 1000+ or equivalent corporate experience with intense understanding of ministry structure, proven skills in strategic planning/implementation, a proven track record of team implementation and development. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred and experience in large organization is helpful.

Theological degrees are also not required and frankly discouraged for this particular position. We are looking specifically for someone to be about Our Father's BUSINESS. A business degree is required and experience managing a church or corporation of significant size and structure.
