Element Church – Media Director
Element Church is looking for a talented, insanely passionate, Christ follower that wants to use graphics and media to impact and change the world! The Media Director will report directly to the Creative Pastor. We’re looking for someone who wants to serve in full-time ministry, not a full-time job. If your not aware of the difference, this may not be the opportunity for you. We are hunting for someone who has a passion for and experience in developing volunteers for service in the various aspects of the graphics/media department and recruiting new volunteers. We’re looking for a leader not just a doer, a team builder not just an employee. We welcome, but do not require, any official college education and training, as long as you have real life experience in developing a team that uses the creative arts to reach this and future generations.
What makes our heart beat:
Element Church is all about rescuing the perishing and building up the saved! It’s what we breath. Our church launched a bit over 3 years ago, since then by the grace of God we have become the fastest growing church in the history of St. Louis (we are in a suburb called Wentzville), but as we grow big we want to grow small, which is the key motive behind our thriving small groups ministry and our passion to develop ministry teams, including our Creative Arts Department. We are currently averaging 1,000-1,200 people a weekend. We run hard and fast and are consumed with a vision to reach people and make fully devoted followers of Christ! Prior to planting Element Church, our Senior Pastor, Erik Lawson, had been in youth ministry for 16 years and had the privilege of helping build Oneighty, the youth ministry of Church On The Move in Tulsa, OK. Oneighty grew to become the largest youth ministry in the nation. At the time of his departure to plant Element Church, they were averaging more than 2,500 teenagers in attendance each week!
