Our vision at Peoples Church is to be a healthy Christian community that God uses to draw people to faith and full maturity in Christ. We live out this vision through the three “B’s” of community: Belonging, Becoming, and Building. We hope you will find here a place: to belong and be loved by God and others, to become more like the Jesus we follow, and to build relationships of love and service to others.
Core Values (that drive the vision):
Healthy Christian Community –To unite believers in spirit and purpose, while forming a community where each person gives and receives Christ-like love. (1 John 1:7, Acts 4:32, Eph 4:4, Romans 12:15-16)
Prayer & Worship – To create environments where believers acknowledge God the Father, Son and Spirit and are encouraged to authentically respond to Him. (Matt. 4:10, 28:18-20, John 4:19-21, 1 Peter 2:5-9, Romans 12:1-2)
Outreach – To reach out to non-Christians with Christ-like love in ways that meet their needs and draw them to Christ. (Matt. 9:9-13, 28:18-20, Mark 12:28, 19:45, 1 Cor. 9:19-23, John 4)
Discipleship – To ensure that every believer is being transformed by God through obedience to God’s word, accountable relationships, and serving in a Christ-like manner. (Matt. 18:15-17, Acts 2:42-47, Heb. 10:24-25, James1:1-4)
