Title: Youth Pastor
Accountable to: Board of Elders
Supervised by: Senior Pastor

New England Bible Church is a non-denominational Bible church located in Andover, MA. (25 miles north of Boston). Applicants must be in agreement with New England Bible Church’s doctrinal statement.

Primary Mission:

Assume personal leadership of the junior and senior high youth programs, while overseeing all youth (1st – 12th grade) ministries.


• Produce a comprehensive youth program that spiritually develops and challenges the youth, provides education and resources to the parents, and integrates the youth with the larger church body through service, missions and evangelism.
• Provide a biblical example in life and service for our youth to emulate
• Provide leadership to the youth ministries volunteer staff and partner with parents
• Provide biblical counseling and mentoring to the youth
• Provide biblical counseling to parents on issues pertaining to youth
• Oversee the AWANA program
• Oversee children’s Sunday school and develop current Children’s Church service
• Oversee children’s programs (VBS / plays / music/ activities)



• Minimum of 3+ years experience in youth ministry with proven results
• Successful leadership experience
• Undergraduate degree required; Youth Ministries, Bible or equivalent preferred, but not required

Personal Qualities:

• Must have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
• Must love children and youth
• Display spiritual and emotional maturity
• A male believer, that meets the qualifications for Elder, as outlined in I Timothy 3:1-7
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to relate to people from diverse economic, racial, and social backgrounds
