Job Description:
• Demonstrates strong and growing walk with Christ
• Strong inter-personal & conflict resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate about and experienced in community development
• Proven ministry experience recruiting & working with volunteers and managing staff
• Strong volunteer leadership experience in large organizations
• Skilled at developing cross-functional collaborations and partnerships
• Demonstrated servant’s heart
• Ability to prioritize care for people/relationships above results without sacrificing desired outcomes
• Ability to see ‘big picture’ and think/operate strategically
• Able to develop and implement a system that delivers against a vision
• Ability to drive progress while discerning God’s plans and adapting

Supports Outreach at an executive level by ensuring we are doing ministry “with” the communities we serve by
•Develops on-going relationships with key leadership in each of the partnerships, locally and globally, focused on reciprocity.
•Leads the evolution of our Community Center model focused on ministry “with” vs. ‘to”, sustainability and mobilization
•Designs and implements a process in which to select and develop partnerships and evaluate opportunities
•Ensures that all serving opportunities are doing ministry “with” the community vs. “to” the community.
•Develops a strategy within each community to identify the most critical issues and strengths
•Designs and implements a best in class life changing serving experience within each community focused on the volunteer taking their first and next steps
•Oversees the spiritual development of high level volunteer leadership teams overseeing the different communities
•Oversees staff to support community development efforts locally and globally
•Manages and develops Community Development staff with spiritual growth a priority
•Documents processes/tools to facilitate exporting best practices
•Assists with the development and implementation of 3-5yr strategic plan
