Job Description:

Huron Hills Baptist Church of Ann Arbor, Michigan seeks a full-time youth pastor to lead our missional youth ministry. Located close to the University of Michigan and other colleges, we are situated in a progressive community where youth face intense pressure to succeed. If you are looking to passionately engage students, and the words “evangelism” and “discipleship” are at the forefront of your day to day ministry, this is the job for you. The pastoral call at Huron Hills also includes daily collaboration with our pastoral staff, relationship building with parents and volunteers, occasional preaching on a Sunday morning, and the ability to cast vision for the youth ministry.

Huron Hills is looking for an individual clearly called to youth ministry. Our ideal hire would be a student of youth culture, and a gifted teacher with strong interpersonal skills. An evident Christ centered and Spirit filled heart is also very important. A minimum of 3-5 years of ministry experience and an MDiv/MA seminary degree are preferred and desired.

Huron Hills is a vibrant, thriving church on the verge of significant development and growth in its church life. Over one hundred youth are actively involved at Huron Hills. The volunteer resources in place at the church are considerable, as is the supply of leadership and talent via the rich tapestry of networks in Ann Arbor. The church’s senior staff enjoys healthy relationships and a robust planning process.
