Develop, grow, and lead a Communications Team at K2 The Church. Responsible for overseeing all the elements of communication production for K2 and other ministries throughout the church.
Communications: Writing & designing brochures, pamphlets, flyers and postcards, designing and promoting K2 image and branding. Overseeing branding for all ministries. Helping ministry directors cast vision & express themselves in print using various mediums. Assist and educate staff in bidding & sourcing printing jobs, editing, designing, and marketing K2 booklets. Assist future church plants with launch materials, marketing strategies, graphic design, etc.
Print Publications: Oversee art direction, creative direction, and copy on all high-profile print documents and public marketing pieces (direct mail postcards, holiday invites, special series pieces, posters, business cards, billboards, Local Compassion Guide etc). Oversee production of weekend service programs and collateral publications.
Digital Publications: Facilitate/create and execute weekly HTML emails using Fellowship One email lists. Create and send out special email invites for new series and special events. Create online Local Compassion Guide for K2 Outreach Ministry
Marketing: Function as Promotional Strategist for all major special events. Duties include creating time lines, print ads, banners, posters, and other promotional items. Also update content for online events calendar. This also includes online and lobby ticketing for holidays and special events.
K2 Gear: Brand K2 and supporting ministries (AC, Students, Outreach, etc…) using clothing and various textile media (t-shirts, sweat shirts, hats, coffee cups, thermos’, etc…) for brand awareness within the K2 community.
Arts/Tech Team: Work closely with other Arts Team members to execute weekend services and other special events related to communication.
Planning team: Serve on weekly planning team meetings, helping to shape weekend services while developing and executing all elements related to communication.
Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers. Develop/mentor/apprentice gifted creative people, editors, photographers and graphic artists. Equip others who will create graphics and or other media for use at K2 and potential K2 church plants and campuses.
Website/Email: Oversee all content and updates on weekly bases. Ticketing for holidays and special events. Oversee overall look and feel/design and development for ministry needs. K2 Staff Email / Email list creation and support.
Signage: Create and manage all K2 and K2 related ministry signs and banners (AC, Students, Lobby) for all campuses.
Listening Room: Music event promotional materials such as flyers, posters and tickets.
