PLANT ENGINEERS (2) – BUILDING SERVICES/OPERATIONS
Two (2) full time Plant Engineers needed.

Mclean Bible Church is a large church located in northern Virginia near Tysons Corner shopping center serving between 8-10,000 people per weekend. Plant Engineer positions responsible to assist with installing, repairing, testing and maintaining all aspects of the central plant systems including all HVAC equipment chillers and boilers. A complete knowledge of BAS automation, including but not limited to pneumatic controls, and DDC controls. Knowledgeable in the operation of fire alarm control panels, fire annunciation panels, and a complete working knowledge of main fire pumps, jockey pumps and sprinkler systems including Dry pipe systems. Positions assist in troubleshooting electrical, plumbing and other mechanical repairs, including system malfunctions within the plant and building to keep building systems running optimally. Assist with various other building projects as necessary. Individuals must carry pager and be available to work within a rotating, on-call system with limited response time.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant plant engineer experience (chiller plant operation experience preferred). Universal CFC Certification mandatory. Low Pressure Boiler Certification/License. Minimum qualification: Certified in basic electrical maintenance. Knowledge of equipment manuals, specifications, government codes, schematics, electrical meters, gauges and blueprints. Intermediate level of computer expertise with good writing and telephone skills. Must be available for evenings and weekends.
