Job Description:

Crossroads Community Church (CCC) is searching for a energetic, fun to work with, highly motivated, spirit and joy-filled, Adult Discipleship/Teaching Pastor with a strong charismatic teaching gift for a growing culturally relevant and progressive church of about 1350.

The Pastor must have a heart that pursues God with a passion to see people transition from guests to enthusiastic, growing followers of Christ who are using their gifts and abilities to serve Christ and build the Kingdom.

The position is responsible for the development, oversight, coordination and facilitation of the “Restore” Adult Ministry, which facilitates people becoming the people God created them to be. Primarily responsible for creating, cultivating, leading, equipping and shepherding teaching teams of volunteers and developing systems including materials and programs for the Discipleship (Restore) ministry. The goal is to make discipleship ministries at CCC a vibrant growth component of a person’s spiritual journey. Other responsibilities will be to occasionally teach at the weekend services, performing weddings, funerals, baptisms and baby dedications as required by the Lead Pastor, and the oversight of the teaching component of our once a month Wednesday night [re]vive service.

Must have the ability to relate well with people and work in harmony with the pastoral staff, have a positive disposition, good sense of humor, teachable spirit, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
