Job Description:
Kingwood United Methodist Church is a large suburban church in Kingwood, TX and is looking for a full time Assistant Director of Music to assist with implementation of a long range plan that emphasizes music outreach to all age groups as well as excellence and diversity of programming.

Primary duties include re-building choral and instrumental music programs for children and youth.

Will also work with Music Director to coordinate other program areas, such as specialized adult groups, and act as a resource for volunteer-led groups. Will assist with development of Fine Arts Academy which will include instrumental and choral training groups and additional arts groups, such as drama, dance and visual arts.

Credentials include music related bachelor’s degree, experience in developing children/youth programming, 3-5 years preferred and adequate accompanist skills. Salary: $40,000+ commensurate with qualifications and experience.
