Job Description:

REDWOOD PARK CHURCH is seeking an “adventurous at heart” leader with visionary passion for the development and formation of spiritually alive Christ followers. The scope of this ministry includes the development of effective life (small) group communities, mid-sized teaching experiences, as well through the various community care and compassion ministries of the church. Our care and compassion ministries serve both those within and beyond the immediate Redwood family. As the Pastor of Adult Ministries you will also oversee the Opportunities Centre, a ministry seeking to be the hands of feet of Jesus to the poor and marginalized in our city. You will need to be developing as a creative communicator as well as a collaborative leader.

You will be serving with a church family who is sensitive to and inclusive of people from irreligious backgrounds while committed to building a community of fully alive history shaping Christ followers, who describe the Christian journey as involving, “Life, Passion and Adventure.” You’ll be joining a full and part-time staff team of 13, including pastors, pastoral apprentices and interns, as well as support staff in a growing church that is moving towards 900 in regular weekend attendance through its main campus in Thunder Bay and satellite campus in Barrie.

This position is based at our main campus located in Thunder Bay, at the head of Lake Superior.
