Job Description:
Our growing church of 80+ people has an opening for a full time children's pastor, includes vacation and health benefits. We are a storefront church where people are being saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized in water, healed, etc. God is moving in our midst. We are in the midst of a building project and have a young, contemporary approach to ministry while maintaining a solid Biblical message, vibrant Spirit filled worship, and the pursuit of righteous living. We have a growing children's ministry of about 10 kids with unlimited community potential in this suburban metro area. Peoria is city without being inner city, and offers tremendous opportunities. Our multi-cultural, multi-generational church also offers the same. We are looking for a team player who can receive direction, and provide direction to volunteers. Someone who is not afraid to go into neighborhoods and schools and reach kids, and someone who can not only dream big things, but make them happen. Our children's ministry is well equipped with bounce houses, carnival food machines, projection units, portable sound system. It is waiting for someone with the midas touch!
