Job Description:
Sturgeon Bay Community Church in beautiful Door County, WI (approximately 50 miles from Green Bay, WI), is seeking a pastor/teacher to lead a congregation of approximately 100. The attendees seek a leader with vision and a desire to create an atmosphere of Spiritual growth in a contemporary church service, where individuals are free to investigate Christianity without pressure. Candidates will find this church group to be open, honest and filled with hard working individuals desirous of partnering with a solid leader. Specific Duties

o Be a shepherd to the congregation
o Teach/Preach congregation the Word of God
o Building positive relationships within the church and community
o Provide a safety net of counsel to those in personal distress
o Responsible for setting the leadership tone throughout the organization.
Leadership tone includes delegating, inclusion, vision casting, and service above self.
o Performs weddings, funerals, baptisms as needed
o Aware of all church ministries annual plans/strategies
o Knowledgeable of organization structure
o Ability to recruit personnel for ministry
o Pursue continuing education to improve personal spiritual development
o Be accountable to Elder Board for policy issues and strategic decisions
o Be accountable to Elder Board to assure that as strategic plans are developed they are implemented and measured.
o Be responsible for coordinating the worship ministries.

The church is a remodeled racket ball facility with 10,000 sq ft of space, situated on three acres of land that is beautifully landscaped with ample parking and is mortgage free.

Salary is dependent on experience and benefits are included in the salary package.
