HCBC NW has planted 15 churches with more church plant residents gearing up to plant new churches over the next few months. This open position (Program Director) is for the main campus church which runs 4,000-5,000. This position will require a dynamic leader who is creative and organized. The Program Director is responsible for coordinating all of the various worship service elements into one cohesive plan. The goal is to help facilitate authentic worship where there is a high anticipation of the active power and presence of God. Our desire is for each person to connect with God in a unique way, every time we gather. This position will report to the Worship Director and will manage the worship technical staff. The Program Director is responsible for the teams that serve in production, stage design/décor, video, special events and service support areas (ushers, communion servers, etc.). There are over 300 ministry volunteers as well as many key lay leaders that serve in the worship ministry.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can work creatively, think strategically and move ministry forward. This person needs to demonstrate a high capacity in both creative and organizational bandwidths. They need to be passionate about the gospel, the local church and inspiring others as they participate in meaningful ministry. The Program Director needs to have a spiritual awareness of the movement of God and for knowing how to produce services that are authentic and distraction-free, without the appearance of being overly slick. Besides leading specific ministry teams, they will also serve as a supervisor to some of the worship ministry staff. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in a high-level, comparable role with preference given to those with large-church related experience.
