The Church: “The Summit”
This is a multi-ethnic church plant in North Dallas, Texas.

We are anticipating launching the church in late August / September of 09. We anticipate anywhere from 300 to 600 people at our first public worship service.

We are looking for a leader who is energetic, who can lead comfortably in a multi-ethnic environment and can lead and develop a strong worship team that plays a variety of styles: Including, R&B (For example: Tye Tribbett, Kirk Franklin), Contemporary Christian (Passion, Hillsong, Chris Tomlin), Urban, etc...

The Leader should have a heart for developing worship services that use multi-media, video testimonials; a production team that uses lights, staging etc, to enhance the service. We would hope the leader would either personally or be able to develop a team that can re-arrange existing songs to give them a fresh sound. The leader would develop team members that could incorporate using drum loops etc... in songs.

The Leader should have a heart for using a wide range of musicians in service, such as a brass section, possible string section (violin, cello, guitars, drums, etc...

The leader should have a heart for developing a music studio with multiple work stations. The purpose would be to allow local musicians to come in write, record and produce worship music that would speak to a diverse community. The leader should have a heart to coach and develop other musicians and vocals. In short we want to be a bridge into the music community that draws in potential musicians and worship leaders from around the country. We want to deploy leaders who have a heart for worship and understand the importance of working as a team with one heart.

The leader should understand how to use systems or develop a team to develop strong systems which will maintain a strong team and allow for smooth transition of new members into the team.

The Leader should be concerned with people connecting in worship at a heart level. The worship service would be Overwhelmingly Christ Centered, but open to using secular musical forms to convey a Christian message or theme.

The leader should have a heart for traveling to other part of the world (for example: Africa, Asia, Central America) utilizing music as a means of evangelistic outreach.

Finally, The leader should be passionate about worship, and having FUN!!! This should not be seen as a job, but an opportunity to pursue a dream.
