Malibu Presbyterian Church (MPC) has an opening for a communications coordinator to create and manage our brand identity in print and online. MPC is in the midst of an extraordinary and exciting time. In October of 2007, we suffered the loss of our sanctuary to a devastating fire that burned thousands of acres throughout the region. While we continue to mourn the loss of our building, the experience galvanized our congregation in unexpected ways and inspired us for the next chapter. Drawing on decades of history and resources, we remain a vibrant church committed to our faith and excited for the future.

We believe that communications is truly front line evangelism. The communications coordinator is central to our effort to keep the congregation informed in print and online. The qualified candidate will have experience and familiarity in print (writing copy, proofing, print layout and design) and web (html, css, content management systems, e-marketing). Responsibilities include weekly bulletins, quarterly newsletters, annual report, web updates, eblasts and campus signage. You will experience great creative freedom and flexibility in a wonderful working environment.
