Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time English ministry (EM) pastor to lead and shepherd our EM congregation. The primary focus of the EM pastor will be to minister to college students, young adults, and married couples. As a part of the Los Angeles Christian Presbyterian Church, the EM pastor will also be a representative and bridge with the Korean Ministry (KM) leaders and servants. EM Pastor will be required to attend twice a week meetings with the Pastoral Staff of LACPC.

Required Qualifications:
* An ordained minister from an evangelical denomination.
* A Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary.
* Gospel-centered teaching and preaching.
* Several years of adult English ministry experience with a long term vision for English ministry in an ethnic specific church.
* Willingness to commit a minimum of four years to the church and its ministry.
* Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
* A candidate who has a family and can develop family-oriented ministries.
* Ability to communicate in Korean.
* Previous experience in an Asian-American church setting.

Church Description:
Hillside Ministry of LACPC is the English-speaking congregation of the Los Angeles Christian Presbyterian Church averaging about 50 people worshiping on Sundays. Its demographic is made up of young families, singles and college students with most members who are of second generation Korean-American descent.

LACPC, comprised of Korean-speaking and Christian education ministries, account for approximately 500+ people. The leadership of the church is made up of the session of elders, the pastoral staff, and both ordained and appointed deacons. Hillside has a leadership team overseeing the ministry in its activities.
