Job Description:
Bridges is a 1,200+ member community of Christ-followers reaching the post-churched culture of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a multi-cultural body with multiple venues and languages in the beginning phases of a campus renovation, the first phase of which will be our auditorium, including an entire overhaul of our technical production systems. Our church is looking for a mature follower of Christ who is passionate about using the technical arts to connect people to God.

The Technical Arts Director will be primarily responsible for the technical execution and direction of weekly services through sound, lighting, staging, and video presentation. Integral to the success of the weekly services, the Director will mobilize, train, and shepherd volunteer teams, raise up team leaders and maintain equipment.

Ministry Responsibilities:

Weekly Services and Productions
• Produce sound, lighting, staging and video presentation elements for weekend services, mid-week events, and special productions
• Oversee proper set-up and tear-down of staging elements
• Troubleshoot technical issues during services and productions

Weekly Service and Production Preparation
• Schedule all technical arts teams
• Work with production team to coordinate weekend services
• Communicate weekend service components and transitions to technical arts teams

Technical Arts Team Development
• Recruit and manage volunteer technical arts team
• Develop training processes and curriculum for technical arts team
• Train and equip technical arts team
• Raise up leaders to oversee non-weekend events (Youth, Children’s Ministry, Celebrate Recovery, etc.)

• Maintain current sound, lighting, and video equipment
• Design and implement new equipment and systems as needed

• Successful experience of managing volunteer technical arts teams
• 3+ years of experience in the field of technical production preferred
