Job Description:

SUMMARY: To provide pastoral leadership, care and oversight to the adult population of the Allison Park Church - Hampton Campus.

 

WORK WEEK: This job is a full-time paid position with a benefits package and consists of 40 to 50 hours per week.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Submit to the vision of the Lead Pastor.

  • Lead, manage, and oversee the Life Groups Coordinator and the growth and development of Life Group leaders, hosts, and groups.

  • Manage and oversee the Network Of Hope Program Director and the growth and development of all the ministries, groups, and efforts of NOH at the Hampton Campus.

  • Lead, manage and oversee the Young Adults Director and all growth and development of the 18-29 year old ministry at the Hampton Campus.

  • Lead, manage and oversee the Welcome Director of the Hampton Campus and the growth and development of all the volunteers that serve to make the weekend happen.

  • Lead and oversee the Growth Coaches and ensure that every GC is meeting consistently and effectively with their campus department heads.

  • Lead the way in the push toward recruiting, retaining, and appreciating volunteers.

  • Lead and oversee the Pastoral Care Pastor at the Hampton Campus and their efforts at caring of the adult population (over 29) and in leading Prime Timers.

  • Work with the Young Adult Pastor and the Monthly Events Coordinator to increase the assimilation rates of guest follow-up, alpha participation, water baptism, membership, and connection into regular life group participation and or volunteerism.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Some type of Bible College or Bible School Training

  • Is pursuing ministry credentials or already has them

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic computer and word processing skills and understanding

  • Leadership & supervisory ability with staff and volunteers

  • Recruiting, building and developing teams

  • Positive interpersonal and influence skills

  • An understanding of how technology can be used in ministry

  • Preaching, teaching and communication skills

  • Planning, Prioritizing & Goal Setting

 

SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS:  Provides visionary leadership in one area of ministry, equips people for ministry, and exhibits the characteristics of an elder (1 Timothy 3:1-7)
