Executive Pastor (171712) - South USA (TN)

 

We have partnered with a church in the Nashville, TN area to search for an Executive Pastor.

 

HopePark is a Christian church whose main aim is to grow faith, give hope, and spread love. Responding in faith to this mission the church recently worked with the Metro Board of Education in Nashville to convert the existing HopePark campus to a beautiful high school that will serve the surrounding community.

 

In doing so, HopePark is now able to make the move as a renewed community to the Sylvan Park area of West Nashville. Plans are underway for this exciting rebirth that will open the door to brand new opportunities for reaching Nashville. HopePark has a bright future as a church and will continue to grow faith, give hope, and spread love in our community and our city.

 

The Executive Pastor will be responsible for the following:

  1. Strategic Leadership

    • Continued clarification of all goals and objectives for the direction of the church.

    • Ensuring that facilities and programs are aligned with the mission and vision of the church.

    • Ensuring that staffing reflects the best possible alignment to meet strategic goals.

    • Continuing to champion, in all areas, the mission, vision, and goals of the church.

 

  1. Staff Management and Development

    • Serve as Chief of Staff, and Human Resources Manager, providing leadership to all paid staff.

    • Supervise the staff leadership team in all day-to-day ministry and operational activity.

    • Implement hiring practices that will be in alignment with the overall strategy.

    • Provide evaluation and coaching to the staff.

    • Lead staff meetings, and serve as the operational liaison to the Lead Pastor, elders, and staff.

 

  1. Administration

    • Serve as the Chief Financial Officer, providing oversight and direction for all financial activity of the church.

    • Oversee the management and development of facilities, temporary and permanent, ensuring that all facility development is in alignment with the vision and values that drive HopePark.

    • Ensure that the church’s technology infrastructure creates efficiencies and and allows for continued growth.

 

  1. Marketing and Communications

    • Protect and promote HopePark’s unique identity through internal and external communications, in conjunction with the Lead Pastor.

    • Give direction to the marketing and public relations activities of the church

    • Establish communications guidelines to be sure the message stays focused and consistent with HopePark’s vision and values.

 

The Executive Pastor will continue to develop a growth strategy for HopePark as it continues to solidify its presence in the community in order to reach as many as possible. He/She will leverage existing, and seek new, resources that will allow staff and other leaders to increase the impact of HopePark’s ministry.
