Job Description:

Primary Role- Responsible for the development of a worship ministry capable of providing inspiring, instructive and productive music experiences in worship through individual, congregational, choral and ensemble music.


Job Responsibilies: To connect people to God and the church through praise & worship, Advise and direct sound technicians and computer people, provide service outline and proper order of lyrics to the computer operators, allowing ample time for preparation, responsible for selection and recruiting of worship team members to the worship team, be responsible for the leadership, planning, staffing and execution of all the musical praise & worship segments of the Sunday morning worship service as well as all special services/events


Job Skills: Must be able to sing and play instruments, have knowledge of sound equipment, have knowledge of computers and programming, ability to select songs which lead to worship, ability to read, transposes and chart music, or effectively uses applicable software.


Expectations: Work with pastor(s) in planning the worship services as necessary, work week includes Sunday morning services, practices/rehearsels, attend conferences and training seminars focused on developing skills as a worship leader and music director, assist in any area of the church as needed as a member of the staff.


Qualifications: A mature believer committed to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, Spiritual maturity proven in a personal ministry context and evidenced by a deep knowledge of the Bible and a pastoral heart for people, a well-developed independent thinker with leadership skills: planning, organizing, coordinating, and team building, must be able to operate effectively with minimum supervision, must have love for ministering to a widely diverse congregation.
