Job Description:

Are you able to execute content strategies across multiple platforms to connect the ministry’s brands with its audiences? Working with the entire Creative team, the Hope Christian Church Marketing Coordinator will support the Director implementing compelling internal and external marketing and branding strategies, manage creative written content, and coordinate ministry marketing efforts with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to balance shifting priorities, and a proactive mindset.

• Create and manage strong written content for websites, email campaigns, social media, PR, and other content types, within the ministry’s brands style and tone.

• Work collaboratively with the creative team to concept and implement compelling brand campaigns for television and radio programming.

• Manage a strategic social media plan, understanding best practices and current marketing tools within the platforms, with in-house photographer’s assistance.

• Understanding and analyzing back-end data for google analytics, social media and marketing campaigns; regularly maintaining reports on the effectiveness, create projections, and provide recommendations for optimizations.

• Logistical coordination, planning assistance and execution of ministry events, online and offline promotional efforts, and conferences.

• Create effective monthly email communications.

• Edit and produce Senior Pastor’s Weekly Teaching Notes

• Assisting 3rd party Public Relations gathering internal content for press releases, monitoring activity, managing workflow and providing onsite support for events when necessary.

• Sourcing, producing and managing branded goods year round, including purchasing/execution.

• Maintains the ministry identities across all marketing and public relations channels.

• Staying up to date on industry trends and opportunities.

• Has the ability to take initiative to work independently as well as part of a group.

• Has the initiative to promote personal growth within the ministry.


Essential Functions:

• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Resourcefulness, with a wide degree of creativity and latitude

• Intermediate graphic design knowledge in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop

• Intermediate Microsoft Office primarily in Word and Excel

• Intermediate audio and video editing skills



A high school diploma or GED required; Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Media preferred.

At least two years of prior ministry experience preferred (volunteer leader or church staff) 

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

Basic knowledge of email, internet search, MS Word, MS Excel

Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

Customer service oriented

Ability to type 45 wpm

Attention to Detail

Ability to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Ability to work well under pressure, while maintaining a pleasant attitude

Ability to interact with a diverse group of people

Ability to lift 20 pounds


Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversight to HCC Volunteers
