To provide oversight and leadership to the Sloan Creek Campus’ Student Ministry of Chase Oaks Church.



  • Provide directional leadership in all elements of executing the Sloan Creek campus student ministry
  • Work with Campus Pastor to develop and implement Sloan Creek campus student ministry strategy
  • Develop volunteer organizational structure
  • Recruit, train and develop student ministry leaders
  • Coordinate and oversee execution of weekly ministry activities
  • Work with other campuses’ Student Ministries to develop and adapt programming that applies to campus
  • Work with the Sloan Creek Campus team to plan and develop training modules for leaders in their specific area of service
  • Operate ministry area in keeping with approved budget
  • Have a physical presence during weekend services to connect with volunteers, parents and kids
  • Oversee Student Ministry Resident. Meet regularly for ongoing ministry as well as leadership and Pastoral development
  • Participate in core team meeting and assist Campus Pastor in providing overall direction for campus
  • Lead team meetings for discussion, evaluation and sharing of vision and needs of the ministry
  • Be an active participant in student ministry related activities

  • Commit to participate in the core functions of Chase Oaks Church.
  • Participate in and take responsibility for the execution of the Ministry Team planning process.
  • Consistently model a life of bridge-building.
  • Give Advice and care using a Biblical grid when called for (Pastor-of-the-Day calls and general interaction with people).
  • Be available to perform sacerdotal functions (weddings, funerals, communion and baptisms).
  • Regularly attend and participate in staff and pastoral meetings and/or leadership development opportunities.
  • Be available to assist other ministries and pastors with projects or by handling specific assignments.
  • Pursue an active, growing relationship with Christ.

  • Team Builder. Requires team building abilities to invest in volunteer leaders, staff and set them up for success, and bring new leaders along.
  • Quality Manager. Understands their campus, develops plans, creates process and efficiencies so ministries run well and people are cared for. This entails administration and being a solution specialist.
  • Requires the ability to multi-task and work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.
  • Communicator. Requires an approachability and be able to communicate in all three realms … one on one, groups, and upfront. 
  • Pastor. Has a heart for people and the ability to have teams and systems and personal space to care for people. Groups passion and seeing people connect.
  • Carrier of DNA. Protects the unity and identity of Chase Oaks Church at their campus.



  • Education: Minimum of college degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • The role will supervise the Student Ministry resident and the Next Gen Administrative Assistant at Chase Oaks Sloan Creek. 


  • Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required.  High attention to customer service.


  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook calendaring, and email
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    Data Entry skill & experience
  • Familiarity with Databases
