Job Description:

We are looking for someone to dovetail into an established Worship Arts program and contribute a new perspective. 

Expectations:

  • You need to be supportive of the Assemblies of God Pentecostal distinctive and have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit
  • It is strongly preferred that you have a degree in music
  • You need to be a strong vocalist
  • You need to be open to ministering in different styles of music
  • You need to be proficient at an instrument – preferably keyboard
  • You need to be able to read music
  • You need to have at least 2-3 years of experience leading worship
  • You need to be able to work with multiple generations
  • You need to have a heart for mentoring
  • You need to exemplify excellence AND authenticity
  • You need to be a strong leader
  • You need to be able to train others to be leaders
  • You need to be willing to pursue Assemblies of God ministerial licensing
  • You need to be teachable
  • You need to be adept in being proactive and in following through

 

We are also looking for:

  • A proficiency in Planning Center, Logic Pro and Finale
  • The ability to create loops/tracks
  • A proficiency on keyboards [enough to run rehearsals and services]
  • Flexibility
  • A bonus would be the ability to transcribe written music from a recording

 

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Running the School of Worship
  •  Assisting the Worship Arts Pastor in all aspects of programming services / events
  • Leading worship at either of our 2 campuses
  • Participating as a vocalist and/or band member when not leading
  • Creating loops/tracks
  • Running worship rehearsals [vocals and/or band]
