Job Description:

Easton Bible Church, a family-oriented congregation in suburban Hainesport, NJ, seeks a Pastor of Ministries. The Pastor of Ministries is responsible for developing the

ministries of the church by assisting the pastors and staff in executing the vision, mission and values of our church. He oversees the ministries of the church through the
management of programs and the direction of a network of leaders and volunteers. 


Ideal candidates will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ along with three or more years of experience in ministry leadership. Formal biblical training and/or
education shall be preferred. Exceptional communication skills and computer literacy are required. He shall be gifted in leadership and administration and have excellent
people skills.

Easton Bible Church - Pastor of Ministries

Overall Position Description : The Pastor of Ministries is responsible for developing the ministries of the church in teamwork with the other pastors and staff in executing the vision, mission and values of our church. He oversees the ministries of the church through the management of programs and the direction of a network of
leaders and volunteers.


He will abide by the Easton Constitution and doctrinal statement.

Key Focus: Ministry Supervision and Leadership Development

 Oversees all ministries within Easton not specifically assigned to
another pastor
 For example: Oversee adult ministries, supervise Children’s
Ministries Committee (6th grade and under), and oversee the
maintenance of approved teacher and helper lists.
 Coordinates all programs and ministry activities
 Develops training programs for church and ministry leaders
 Coordinate internal and external communications for proper

Key Focus: Discipleship

 Develop, oversee and drive the discipleship process
 Tracks individuals through discipleship process
Key Focus: Connecting People to Easton
 Enhance the relational culture and assimilation process of the church
 Work with other pastors to seek the retention of those who may be
slipping away

Key Focus: Administration 

 Supervise administrative positions
 Liaison between administrative staff and ministry leaders

 He shall be a man of spiritual maturity meeting the qualifications of
Biblical eldership

 Significant experience in church ministry preferred

 Formal Biblical training preferred

 He should be a relational leader

 He should have administrative ability or experience

 He shall be computer proficient

Performs other duties as assigned by church leadership.
