Job Description:


The Designer is a full-time leader in the development and creation of print and digital communication for Princeton Alliance Church (PAC). He or she points people to Jesus through engaging outreach communications, provides design expertise to the ministries of the church, and supports branding and marketing initiatives that elevate PAC’s mission and vision. The Designer works in-office 40 hours per week. He or she is part of a Communications Team that reports to the Communications Director and provides experience and expertise in the following areas: 

Graphic Design

  • Creative concept development
  • Design of internal and external print communications
  • Design of graphics to compliment our digital media (video, web and social) initiatives 

Web Design

  • Site maintenance and enhancement (CSS and HTML proficiency a plus) 
  • Video and social media integration 
  • Systems integration 
  • Metrics and analytics 

Vendor Coordination 

  • Relationship development and management 
  • Project specification 
  • Project pricing 
  • Project delivery and quality assurance  


  • Project management 
  • Project-related communication with staff 
  • Personnel management (Design intern) 
  • Volunteer Team management (Communications volunteers)  

The Designer is highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign). He or she is alert to current trends of design in print and digital media, and can appropriately apply current trends to the PAC audience. In addition to excellent communication and organizational skills, the ideal candidate for this position possesses a/an:

In concert with his or her daily professional responsibilities, the Designer is a member of PAC’s Creative Team, which is responsible for developing the graphics around Sunday service series and the rollout of church-wide initiatives. The Designer also participates in weekly staff development activities such as staff prayer and a staff meeting facilitated by PAC’s Executive Pastor. The Designer is (or will become) involved in an active discipleship coaching relationship. He or she is a member of PAC (within six months of employment) and regularly attends Sunday services at PAC once employed.

Educational requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Arts, or Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
