POSITION DESCRIPTION: Foster Creek Administrative Assistant



The Foster Creek Administrative Assistant provides support to the Foster Creek campus staff by assisting in a variety of areas.



General Support

  • Submitting Weekly Reports
  • Weekly prayer requests from communication cards – email to elders/staff on Monday
  • Weekly attendance report – submitted (online form) on Monday
  • Weekly guest info from communication cards – email to elders/staff on Monday
  • Assisting with guest and member information requests
  • Assisting in the membership process
  • Submitting First Colony staff request forms including Purchase Orders, Communication Requests, Room Reservations Requests and Maintenance Requests
  • Creating, editing and scheduling weekly emails
  • Weekly (Friday) “this week @ foster creek” email from Campus Minister to church
  • Occasional special event emails
  • Emails to volunteers for outreach events, special events, etc.
  • Tracking and submitting weekly Order of Worship changes
  • Updates / Changes / Notes to Shane & Christy by Thursday morning
  • Facebook page updates – events, photos, etc.
  • Supplies and Preparation for Worship – in worship room (“the barn”)
  • Communion supplies (pre-sealed cups, home-made bread, napkins/liners for baskets)
  • Coffee supplies
  • Water bottles – in fridge on back patio
  • Worship team needs – songs, plan, etc.
  • Front Porch Cart – Order of Worship, guest info, sign ups, etc.
  • General prep for worship, straighten chairs, etc.
  • Track and order coffee and coffee supplies
  • Pay for coffee monthly at Mugz


Worship Ministry

  • Coordinating schedules for coffee, communion and production volunteers
  • Enter content into Planning Center Online
  • Attend Wednesday night rehearsals to proof ProPresenter – 7:30 pm
  • Enter lyrics, videos, and sermon outline into Pro Presenter
  • Coordinate announcements and slides in Pro Presenter, matching Order of Worship, service promos



  • Must have a heart for people and developing teams
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must possess the ability to communicate with multiple people through various forms of communication including phone calls, email, text, Facebook, etc.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to create duplicable systems
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to quickly identify issues
  • Possess an internal desire to bring professionalism to 52+ worship services per year
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Planning Center Online and Pro Presenter is a plus





Payroll Status: Non-exempt

Classification: Part-time

Schedule: Approximately 10-12 hours/week


Office Hours: Sundays and Wednesdays

This is a work-at-home position with some on-campus hours.


Regular on-campus hours:

Sunday mornings: 8:30am-11:30am

Monday staff meeting: 4:00pm–5:00pm

Wednesday rehearsal: 7:30pm-8:30pm
