Job Description:

Position Overview:  Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Communications Department and Lead Pastor’s office.

Prerequisites:

  • Record of consistent, high-level performance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Professional and positive demeanor
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Experience in writing, proofreading or print/design work is helpful

General Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in managing internal and external communications including print and digital media
  • Assist in maintaining departmental standards and procedures including departmental documentation
  • Managing personal and team workflow for assignments and projects
  • Providing general administrative support to the
  • Communications Department and Lead Pastor’s office
    Prepare and distribute correspondence to members and guests
