Role:  Pastor and Team leader for worship teams

Job Type: Part time (10 hours/week)

Accountable to: Campus Pastor

Style:  Contemporary/mixed.  (Examples: Vertical band, Tomlin, Crowder, Rend Collective)


The position:

Under the leadership of the campus pastor, the worship pastor will provide spiritual and organizational leadership to the worship ministry of the church ensuring that worship services are God-honoring, fresh, and life-giving. Worship should lead the congregation into an authentic encounter with the goodness and greatness of our God. The worship pastor will develop and model a high standard of excellence in corporate worship. He will develop music and flow sheets for Sunday mornings, lead practices during the week, lead worship on Sunday mornings, and engage in ongoing development of a team of leaders from within the congregation for worship. He will pastor by modeling godliness and shepherding his team of volunteers.

  • Plan weekly music packets with the worship leadership team/coordinating with the sermons/series
  • Lead weekly rehearsals

  • Coordinate with Media Ministry for practices and ProPresenter
  • Coordinate with campus pastor for service themes and flow
