Job Description:

Pastor of Student Ministries

Do you love youth?  Do you love the Lord?  We have a perfect opportunity for you to combine your two loves in an exciting mission to students in one of the best small towns anywhere in a great church!  One large high school, two middle schools and a great group of volunteers and staff make for one amazing prospect when you consider where you can use your gifts and abilities for God’s glory.  We are a church that has always had a passion for young people… discipling the many who are already here, and reaching out to the many pre-Christian kids around us.  We are looking for someone like you… someone who lives passionately for God’s glory, has a vision for Kingdom growth among today’s youth, is willing to learn and grow with us as we seek to worship the Lord with all our hearts, reach the lost, and disciple the found.

Education and experience is important in your development.  It is our wish to find someone with a good dose of both, but at the same time, we hope that you will be a lifelong learner as you do ministry at Countryside… as we all are.  Ultimately, an MDiv is preferred, along with some good youth ministry experiences.  If this full-time calling sounds like it is for you, let’s talk!
