Job Description:

Door Creek Church is looking to add an Executive Pastor of Operations to our Ministry Leadership Team. If you are a people and systems person, a leader and builder of teams and would like to make an impact on our community, this may be the position for you.

The Executive Pastor of Operations primary responsibility is furthering the mission of Door Creek by the planning, development, and implementation of the Operational ministries of the church. This position serves as the primary point of contact and accountability for finance, facilities, and operations (IT, HR, risk management and overall business administration.)


Position Title:    Executive Pastor of Operations

Job Summary:

This position has the primary responsibility of overseeing all Operational Ministries, which support the mission and vision of Door Creek Church.


Ministry Description:                      

The purpose of this position is to ensure that the support ministries of the church are healthy, aligned to our values and effective in helping us achieve our mission. This person works closely with the SLT (Strategic Leadership Team) giving daily oversight to the day-to-day operations of our church.


Reporting Relationship:  Lead Pastor


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Finances
  • Oversee the financial operations of the church
  • Facilities
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all facilities
  • Information Technology
  • Oversee IT
  • Human Resources
  • Oversee Human Resources
  • Business Management
  • Oversee the day to day business management of DCC, and provide assistance to our Boomerangs Resale Store, and weekend Café
  • Develop annual business plans and goals with the SLT
  • Develop and manage a central services business system to support all sites
  • Manage contractors and vendors for DCC related businesses and services
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
