Job Description:

About the Organization:

Sunrise Church is a unique, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church with six locations spread throughout the Inland Empire region of southern California. With nearly sixty years of faithful ministry and service in the community, Sunrise Church has grown from a small charter group of twenty-one members in 1956, to a congregation of over 6,000 today. As a true testament of its love for people, Sunrise Church has had only three senior pastors throughout its existence. Sunrise Church’s current Senior Pastor and lead communicator, Pastor Jay Pankratz, has led and grown the Sunrise Church congregation for more than 25 years.

In Pastor Jay Pankratz’s own words, the Rialto/San Bernardino community is ripe for leaders whose hearts are fixated on “reaching people.” Leaders with a passion for being actively engaged with families and lost souls will find Sunrise Church and the Inland Empire community a great fit. Sunrise Church and its surrounding community are well suited for those eager to do the hard but rewarding work of advancing God’s kingdom.

Sunrise Church and its leadership are a great example of those who are willing to exchange comfort for effectiveness, and the results are undeniable.
