Job Description:

This is an amazing position because the ministry is already very strong and waiting for a leader to take over and make it his own.  This pastor needs to have a servant’s heart to serve Christ and His church.  He will lead worship every Sunday.  He will serve as the primary administrator of the worship and creative arts ministries of the church. He will be responsible for the planning, leading, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of our comprehensive creative arts ministry. The purposes of the position are to facilitate an atmosphere in which God is worshipped and glorified and the church body is built up.

Here is what is waiting for you.

CCC has had the same worship pastor for the past 27 years.  He has followed the call of God to another opportunity in our state.  This has left a tremendous hole in our church family.  We are searching for God’s man to be our next Pastor of Worship.  This may be intimidating for some to follow someone with such experience and influence.  We at CCC see it as an opportunity for someone to join us in a well-established ministry and influence both our church and community for the Gospel and the glory of God.  These ministries are not broken or falling apart, so the opportunity will be to take what is working and make it stronger.  However, all of us need change from time to time so we will welcome change as God leads with this new pastor.

We are looking for someone that will influence not just our church, but also the community.  In smaller communities, everyone has to help to make it a great place to live.  Our hope is that we can hire a worship pastor that will first take great care of CCC, but will also use their talents to influence the community for God.

We currently have one worship team that consist of a total of 20 people that rotate on a planned schedule.  Our choir has 50 voices and is like a family of its own.  Our Christmas production usually consist of a team of 50 people that are acting, singing, playing and supporting.  Attendance of production is 2000+ spread out over 4 nights.  These are some of the areas that can be impacted with the proper leadership and vision.

Our Church

We believe our great God has given us the ministry of reconciliation.  We do this through sharing the Gospel whenever we have the opportunity.  As people come to trust Jesus as their Savior, we are passionate about teaching them to love Him and to each other.

God has given us His Word to direct us on how to live our lives.  He also gives us Himself as His Spirit teaches us how to grow in grace and in knowledge of Him.  At CCC, we are one big family who loves to help and serve each other in a way that only a family can.

CCC has been ministering to Beatrice and Southeast Nebraska for 30 years.  Our mission statement and passion is to “Carry Christ to the Community.”
