Children’s Vision


Reign Kids exists to show children the radical grace and love Jesus has for us. We strive to show our kids the love Jesus has for them through worship, Bible lessons, and a joyful atmosphere. Our goal is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Grace in a way that engages kids on their level, in a joy filled way. Our kids will be taught how to Reign in life through Christ, by receiving the abundance of His grace and the gift of His righteousness (Romans 5:17).



Children’s Assistant (Job Description)


This position will work under the supervision of our children’s director, and focus primarily on developing our nursery program (crawlers up to 3 years). We are a new church and have yet to start our nursery program, so this person will have the opportunity to help get it running and present ideas to the children’s director about ways to improve it.      


Our assistant should be equally capable of administration, leading, communicating, and building relationships with parents and children. This is a relational position, while simultaneously being an organizational position.



               -   Tear down and set up the nursery on Sundays

               -   Recruit and schedule volunteers for Sundays

               -   Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming place for our
                   children and parents

               -      Communicate with parents and the director about children and any issues that arise

               -      Cross train in preschool and elementary classes

               -      Run kids ministry in the absence of the children’s director




               -  Organizational skills (scheduling, administrative)

               -  Spiritually healthy (regularly being filled by Jesus’ love)

               -      Relevant experience (ie. Child care, ministry, teaching, etc.)
