Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Associate of Youth ministries Pastor. The role of Pastor of Student Ministries is to help introduce students to Jesus, assisting them to experience the beauty of what it means to know, enjoy and serve Him.  This involves the discipleship of the students in the church, the equipping of their parents and the building of bridges with unbelieving students and parents outside our church.  We also seek to strategically align the children’s through college ministry to ensure there is a cohesive spiritual growth plan including teaching material, serving opportunities and the integration of parents when possible.

Our overall vision is to give every man, woman and child repeated opportunities to see and hear the gospel as we live faithful lives of worship.  So, this individual must want to be involved in our community outside of the church walls so that bridges can be built with those who need to hear the gospel.

The Student Ministries Pastor will be an integral part of the pastoral leadership team.  This team works together to shape the overall vision and strategic planning of the church.  It is our desire to utilize the gifting and leadership of each individual to help us accomplish more than we could by ourselves.  Together, we will plan the calendar, sermon series and special events.  We also want to give the Student Ministries Pastor opportunities to preach. This will allow him to exercise his gifts while also allowing the students to be connected to the overall church.
