We have partnered with a large United Methodist Church in Virginia (Washington DC Metro) in order to conduct a national search for a Student Ministries Director. The church is a community of people committed to making a difference in the lives of those in the community and in the world. The church strives to reach people with the love and compassion of Christ and does so by being at the center of the community. The church focuses on teaching children, students and adults about the Christian life through Sunday messages that tackle real life challenges and struggles.

The church is committed to building relationships and creating authentic community. Life groups encourage and equip participants to be more loving, more selfless, more joyful, and more hopeful. The church provides care and encouragement through prayer, support groups and encouragement to everyone who calls it their church home.

In response to projected population growth, the church opened a new campus in January 2015. Through the opening of this campus, they envisions reaching existing and new residents who are not connected to a church.

The church has a history of more than 120 years, and it imagines an exciting future.

This is a tremendously exciting opportunity to serve with a very dedicated ministry team to reach and grow students.
