Job Description:

Connections Community Church is looking for a person to oversees the creation of our weekend worship services, the teams that support those services, and lead worship.

Ministry Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the planning of worship services, including song sets, creative elements, video production, and stage design.
  • Overseeing the music team, audio-visual team, and design team, including developing leaders, recruiting volunteers and training them.
  • Organizing rehearsals and leading worship at weekend services.
  • Creating a culture of cooperation and excellence among all teams involved in putting on our weekend worship services.


  • Education:  An undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.  Leadership or management training is helpful.
  • Experience: Past success in building and leading a worship team and in crafting worship services.  Experience in working on the technical side of lighting and sound equipment is preferred.
  • Character: Showing a strong personal commitment to following Christ.  Emotionally aware and mature.  Possessing qualities in keeping with senior level church leadership as outlined in 1st Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
  • Personal Traits: Skilled worship leader in a style like that of Northpoint, Elevation, Hillsong, and Bethel; a strong vocal ability and proficient on at least one musical instrument; energetic and capable of engaging people in worship; a proven leader, team builder and people developer; a strong work ethic; positive attitude and “get it done” mindset.
