DATE    Position to begin August 1, 2017




This person needs to be centered with a strong Christian faith and filled with integrity.   This person must have a passion for the Mission Statement and 7 Essentials of The Bridge. This person needs to be a team player, ready to work together for the good of the church family, and be able to receive critical feedback.  This person must have a servant heart, willing to serve the needs of the church community.  This person needs to be a catalyst for utilizing the gifts and talents of ‘others.’ 





•            Seminary Training is highly preferred

  • Two or more years of “Director Level” ministry experience is desired
  • Experience in Christian Education, Discipleship, and Facilitating Bible Studies is required




  • This is a full time salaried position with benefits (including health insurance, pension, life insurance, and education allowance)
  • 40-50 Hours per week



1.            Multiply the Life Group / Discipleship Process

                Ensuring passionate and capable leaders are in place and trained to be effective leaders

Obsess about supporting facilitators and fostering passionate faith/health in Life Group

                Ensuring a continuous effort to welcome new people into our process

                Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of groups at every level

                Responsible to raise up new leaders and multiply the impact of Life Groups

Provide Oversight and alignment for all Discipleship Efforts including men and women’s discipleship groups (this includes keeping an eye on the total number in discipleship at The Bridge and updating our score board)


2.            Develop our Bridge Academy

                Ensuring well planned / Biblical curriculum / trained teachers

Expanding beyond the current Wednesday night program to include unique growth opportunities like Morning Monk and special retreats

                Financial Peace University and Marriage Retreats, would also be part of Bridge Academy



3.            Expand and Develop our Graduates and Professionals Group (G.A.P)

Gather and disciple young people from 18 to mid to early 20’s 

Building a leadership team to provide oversight and direction for this group

Encourage College / Career people to fully engage in the Bridge’s Life Group

Discipleship Process  (We want them to stay in this holistic process for our church)

Encourage College / Career people to fully engage in the Bridge’s Community impact Efforts (including 2nd Saturdays and All Church Impact Days)



4.            Expand and Develop our Group for Mid-20’s and up   

Building a leadership team to provide oversight and direction for this group

Gather and disciple individuals in their mid-20’s to mid-30’s

Encourage full engagement in the Bridge’s Life Group + life of our church



5.            Serve as a full time minister at The Bridge, participating in leadership decisions, preaching rotation, and other leadership roles






*Be directly accountable to and receive support from the Lead Pastor and the team of Overseers.  Overall accountability to the BOO (Bridge Operator and Overseer) Team.

*Regular staff performance reviews
