Job Description:

"Liberti” is a Latin word for “freed people.” Calling our church “Liberti” identifies us as people who are experiencing the deepest longing of the human spirit: liberation from sin and death, which Christ provides. In John chapter 8 Jesus says, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Jesus frees us from our sins and from ourselves, so that instead of living selfishly, we are liberated to love God and love others.

About the Organization:

Liberti Church seeks to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Christ for the Harrisburg region, that together they might enjoy and share the freedom of His Gospel. Attributed to humble beginnings that began with 80-100 worshippers in 2012, Liberti Church in recent years, has become a thriving and authentic organism that has experienced growth across the Harrisburg region of Pennsylvania. Despite the discouraging and hard moments any church plant would experience, Liberti is deeply grateful for the moments of encouragement, joy, and fruition the ministry has yielded through God’s kindness and grace. Today, fueled by His faithfulness and longstanding vision, Liberti Church and its network continues to be a city-impacting movement that confides and depends on God’s provision to lead and guide its days ahead!

About the Location:

Camp Hill
The church is located in Camp Hill, a lovely, historic town located in the west shore region of the Harrisburg region of Pennsylvania. Camp Hill is located just two miles from businesses, sports, shopping, dining and cultural opportunities of downtown Harrisburg. With an excellent school district, cost-efficient public services and a host of recreational opportunities, the town contains approximately 7,600 residents. The average Camp Hill resident is 43 years old, college-educated, and enjoys a family income of roughly $50,000. The nearby suburbs of Harrisburg are close in proximity and except for the existence of town signs, one wouldn’t likely know where each township begins and ends. It provides the great advantage of the residents of Camp Hill to have a small town feel with larger city amenities in very close proximity.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s state capitol is perhaps best known for its assortment of historic museums and a nice waterfront strip along the Susquehanna River. Beyond downtown, residential and industrial areas spread across the river into Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg to the west. The city has some minor-league sports and other recreational amenities, and has a satellite town in Carlisle just 12 miles west, which is becoming a growing retail, commercial and residential center for the entire region. Harrisburg is in the Great Valley of the eastern foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. The landscape rises rapidly to the west into the main Allegheny ridge and becomes rolling to more level to the east. With thick deciduous forests that cover the mountains form east to south, along with the Blue Mountain ridge, Harrisburg does not experience as severe winters as those located in the north. Having bounced back from economic distress in the 1980s, the city is now a vibrant hub for young families, thanks in large part to the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show, which serves as the largest indoor agriculture exposition in the U.S.
