Park Cities Baptist Church (PCBC) began with a mission of reaching people in North Dallas for the Lord. Over the summer of 1939, individuals who lived in the Park Cities area gathered with some neighbors and organized a new church. Since this time, PCBC has been steadily accomplishing its missional strategy--to worship, connect, serve, and multiply. With a wonderfully diverse membership of over 10,000 people, the church family is marked by overflowing generosity resulting in hope for the hopeless through global missions and outreach influence that runs deep into their city. The inexhaustible grace of Christ guides the people of PCBC to love and serve others.

About the Position:

The role of High School Minister at Park Cities Baptist Church will be responsible for the pastoral care, discipleship, and health of the High School Ministry.

This position will design and build an effective High School Ministry that attracts high school students, and integrates them into the life and mission of PCBC. This individual will be focused on both the discipleship and evangelistic growth of the ministry. The ministry is poised for growth, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and mold it within the broader vision of the church. It is the desire of Park Cities to see the High School ministry grow and serve, not only within the walls of the church, but also outside in the community in an outreach capacity.

The ideal candidate for the role will be a proficient and discerning leader with the capability to produce excellent work both independently and as a team member. They will be highly skilled at initiating and implementing plans of action, while practicing industriousness in how they employ time and resources. They will complement the esteemed culture of Dallas, and embrace the community and its surrounding regions.


An undergraduate degree is required, although a seminary degree is preferred.

The successful candidate for this position will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak into the level of privilege and opportunity within and outside the church while authentically connecting with individuals from varied walks of life. They will possess a pioneering spirit with a strong desire to nurture, expand, and maximize the potential of the High School Ministry at PCBC through an integrated culture of love and acceptance. They will strategically navigate both ‘people’ and ‘processes,’ with a foundational understanding of servant leadership.
