Job Description:

Mega church in Atlanta area seeking a Church Administrator to oversee the business and administrative support departments of the church.

The Church Administrator will be the key contributor to a team effort in accomplishing results in the following areas including, but not limited to Accounting, Facilities, Human Resources, and Food Services.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, organized, and self-motivated individual who is extremely detail-oriented and, can offer the flexibility critical to this position. They must provide superb communication skills (both verbal and written), possess exceptional follow-up skills, and demonstrate a high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability resulting in the consistent achievement of task deadlines. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to use time productively will serve the candidate well. In addition to skill-sets necessary for staff management, you will be highly dependable, trustworthy, and are able to maintain the high degree of confidentiality essential to this position.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent, and three years of management experience or, in lieu of: (demonstrated equivalent experience)
  • Minimum, intermediate level, MS Office Suite skill set, experience with (MS Publisher), is a plus
  • Experience with computer systems including, church management software, and financial reporting and accounting software for fund accounting
  • Ability to pass criminal and child protection background checks.
