Job Description:


The Curriculum Coordinator is an excellent opportunity to put your creative and administrative talents to use for God’s purpose within Wooddale’s Children’s ministry. This role will have an integral part of the Children’s team editing, tailoring and prepping curriculum for all campuses for ages birth – 4th grade. 



  • Plan, edit and/or re-write curriculum to meet the vision of the ministry.
  • Creatively plan and implement curriculum that connects the Bible to our children and makes each week engaging and memorable.
  • Follow, research, and interview cutting-edge curriculum ideas and innovations.
  • Partner with the Children’s ministries at all campus locations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of Children’s curriculum through feedback from children’s staff at all campus locations, volunteers and observation.
  • Build, run, and equip weekly prep teams to ensure successful completion of necessary tasks and materials  needed to facilitate Sunday programming.
  • Recruit, train and schedule curriculum prep volunteers.
  • Consistently invest in, and minister to, curriculum volunteers through prayer and team-building events.
  • Maintain the four values of Relationships, Safety, Fun, and Families.
  • Help plan and implement large-scale children’s ministry events.
  • Manage a growth-oriented ministry with goals that align to the mission and vision of the church.



  • Ability to empower, inspire, recruit and equip volunteers and staff to minister to children.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
  • Must be creative and have innovate ideas on ways to share the Gospel to children.
  • Ability to work with and learn from others to provide ministry excellence.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and build efficient processes.
  • Subscribe to and affirm the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Wooddale Church.
  • Remain a member in good standing of Wooddale Church.
  • Be a regular participant in public worship at Wooddale Church.


  • Reports to Children’s Pastor
  • Partners with Children’s Pastors and Directors at all campus locations  
  • Relates to Children’s Ministries and other ministry staff on all campus
